Third-space এন্ডোস্কোপি কী?
থার্ড-স্পেস এন্ডোস্কোপি (Third-space Endoscopy) হলো পরিপাক নালীর দেয়ালের ভেতরের স্তরে (সাবমিউকোসা — দেয়ালের ‘তৃতীয় স্থান’) কাজ করা একটি আধুনিক এন্ডোস্কোপিক পদ্ধতি। এর মাধ্যমে পেট না কেটেই পরিপাক নালীর বড় বা সমতল ক্ষত (lesion) এন্ডোস্কোপির মাধ্যমে অপসারণ করা যায়।
আমাদের ESD যাত্রা
দীর্ঘ প্রশিক্ষণ, ধারাবাহিক অনুশীলন ও অভিজ্ঞতার পর ধীরে ধীরে এই দক্ষতা অর্জিত হয়েছে। প্রতিটি রোগীর ক্ষেত্রে যাচাই-বাছাই করে, নিরাপত্তাকে সামনে রেখেই একে একে এগিয়ে আজকের এই মাইলফলক।
ESD কেন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ?
ESD-র সাহায্যে বড় ও সমতল পলিপ বা ক্ষত পেট না কেটেই এন্ডোস্কোপির মাধ্যমে সম্পূর্ণভাবে (en-bloc) অপসারণ করা যায়। এতে অপসারিত টিস্যু পরবর্তী প্যাথলজিক্যাল পরীক্ষার জন্য অক্ষত পাওয়া যায়।
